I know why many disliked giving one star, previously the boss not a good boss only knew to drink beers after work, now maybe changed boss or employee, now it's better! I like their rice and chili 🌶️ sauce 🔥 also the dao-gei or bean sprouts. 😅 Now their business is better.

I went yesterday evening patronising their curry noodles. Not satisfying for me for the curry gravy and chicken, I got a big piece of burnt potato, a few small pieces of chicken, 1 bitter taste liver and a few taupok strips. All for $6.50. Curry gravy colour deceiving from picture to actual gravy, and taste also not of my expectation. Chicken taste and texture standard is very different from the very first time when they newly opened which was very juicy and yummy then (the maxwell style). 2nd visit was already standard dropped, after a month tasted different already. So stopped for awhile and intended to try their curry noodles ytd but also disappointed. Pls revert back to your initial taste. Thank you.

Bought the chicken rice set. It’s just boiled vegetables without sauce. The chicken portion is so little. The seller is two ladies and the cashier couldn’t speak basic english or understand english.

Yesterday, during the Mid-Autumn Festival, I had tried the steamed chicken rice with egg which costs $4.60 for my lunch after taking Tower Transit Singapore 3-door double-decker bus service 883 from Yishun Avenue 2 near Yishun MRT station opposite Northpoint City North Wing to Canberra Link opposite Block 589D. The chicken rice, the soup and the egg tasted very delicious with its beautiful aromatic taste and I would like to try these dishes from Maxwell Chicken Rice in the future.
