I really loved the Mala and western food here. Mala is affordable and the uncle, even though he seems to manual agak the weight, didnt charge me overprice. ($4.50 including rice) Furthermore, western food is insane for the price. I only paid $5.20 (tip: get set C! egg, rice, fries, coleslaw all on one plate). Chicken patty is not small too! 😎😎😎😎

Food was pretty good, great portion and very filling. Super affordable at $5.20 only for such big portion. Love it, even as a sec sch student just coming for open house. Drinks are cheaper than outside too. But for the western stall the service is quite slow. I ordered earlier than many people together with friends, but my order came much later, even than my friends. :( Generally clean environment, thanks to responsibility of the people and cleaners.

It's a school canteen... What'd you expect? The economic rice is really affordable and reasonably good... The food from the western stall is nice - should try their scrambled eggs... There's Halal ban mian... The mala is nice too and it's slightly cheaper compared to the other on in another canteen...

Everything is just good, chinese mixed rice portions are worth it no matter what, ban mian is very popular and western food is very cheap for very big portions. Pictures are fron the chinese mixed rice stall,2 meats and 3 tofu, all for less than $5

Short circuit has a total of 6 stalls, a Drink store, Cai Png, Mala, Western food, Malay cuisine and Ban Mian (Halal) The price of most of the food at short circuit is cheaper as compared to other canteens located in TP. There are plenty of seats at this canteen but during certain times the crowd is overwhelming and you will likely have troubling locating seats, especially if you are in a large group. (Between 1pm to 2pm especially) There are some seats at the back of the canteen which is a great place to chill at after eating, especially if you are waiting for your next class, but there are some seats that would be affected by the rain if there happen to be one. The fan in the canteen has been faulty before for extended periods of time (Roughly 3 weeks when the weather was at its hottest). It is now fixed but it was not a pleasant experience having to enduring the blistering heat.
